CANCELLED: JULY FOURTH CELEBRATION

July 2, 2022
8:00 pm

UPDATE from the City of Charleston 7.1.22:

With significant water already on the field and more rain expected as we head into the weekend, Saturday evening’s free Independence Day concert and fireworks show at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park has been cancelled.

“Obviously, we’re disappointed,” said city Director of Cultural Affairs Scott Watson. “This promised to be a great family event, and we hate to have to cancel. That said, we want to thank the Charleston Symphony for all the hard work they put into planning an outstanding show, and for immediately volunteering to perform at another special free end of summer celebration, which we’ll announce as soon as the details have been finalized.

For any patrons who purchased parking in advance you will be refunded that amount to the card used upon purchase within 3-5 business days. If you have any questions, please contact the RiverDogs ticket office at 843-577-3647. We hope you have a safe and enjoyable July 4th weekend!
